CONET CEO Martin Wibbe Elected to the Bitkom Hauptvorstand

Bonn, October 22, 2024. Martin Wibbe, CEO of the CONET Group, has been re-elected to the Hauptvorstand of Bitkom. The Hauptvorstand is a central committee of the digital association and brings together leading minds from the German digital economy.

"In addition to the courage to change and the commitment to digital progress by individuals, a broader sense of community is also needed to make a difference. This is where Bitkom plays an important role,” says CONET CEO Martin Wibbe.

Bitkom currently represents more than 2,200 member companies – including around 1,000 high-performing SMEs, over 500 innovative tech start-ups, half of the Dax40 companies and many other global players. The overarching goal of the digital association is to make Germany a leading digital location, to advance the digital transformation of the German economy and administration, to strengthen digital sovereignty and to achieve broad social participation in digital developments.

As a member of Bitkom, CONET has been contributing to the joint design of digital Germany for many years. With the HORIZON28 strategy program, the IT consulting group is focusing on the widespread and beneficial use of artificial intelligence and secure cloud use, supporting administration and industry with future-oriented management systems such as SAP and developing modern, user-centered software solutions.
