Change in Company Management: Martin Wibbe Will Become CEO of IT Service and Consulting Provider CONET
Bonn, March 15, 2024. Martin Wibbe will become the new Chief Executive Officer of the CONET Group from April 1, 2024, succeeding Anke Höfer, who is stepping down after seven successful years in the company’s executive management.
Martin Wibbe (45), a business graduate and EMBA, has been working in the IT service industry since 2002 and has held various positions in sales, marketing and executive management, first at Siemens IT Solutions & Services, then at Atos. Most recently, Mr. Wibbe was Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Materna Informations & Communications SE group of companies.
After more than 20 years in the technology and IT consulting industry, Martin Wibbe has extensive experience and a proven track record in leading organizations. His passion for innovation, growth, leading people and his commitment to excellent customer service make him an ideal choice for the position of CEO at CONET Group.
"It's time to hand over the reins to new hands," says Anke Höfer, who is leaving the company after 28 years. "The CONET Group is in an excellent position for the next phase of growth! Over the past seven years, we have more than tripled our turnover and significantly expanded our market position. Thanks to targeted company acquisitions and the expansion of strategic service areas, we now have a well-rounded service portfolio to provide our customers with the best possible support," summarizes Anke Höfer.
The CONET Group and its employees can be very proud of what they have achieved. "The company is supported by highly motivated and qualified employees who continue to live our values and culture both internally and externally with our customers," says Anke Höfer. "This is what makes the CONET Group so successful! It has always been both an incentive and motivation for me, and I would like to thank each and every one of them for their outstanding cooperation and the trust they have placed in us. The course has been set to lead our company successfully into the future! I wish Mr. Wibbe every success and the entire company all the best for the future."
In his new role, Martin Wibbe will work closely with the existing management team to drive forward the CONET Group's growth ambitions and expand the company's position as a leading provider in the IT services market. His focus will be on strengthening customer orientation, developing innovative solutions and accelerating growth.
The designated CEO Martin Wibbe says: "I am looking forward to the task of continuing the success story of recent years together with my new colleagues in the CONET Group. The CONET Group stands for high reliability and quality, a remarkable corporate culture and outstanding technological and service expertise that inspires. I think long-term and have a clear vision: to support our customers in the best possible way, as a partner at eye level!"
