CHIP Honors CONET Group as Top Employer for IT Jobs

Bonn, 31 January 2025. Companies from the CONET Group are once again in the top ranks of CHIP's latest IT employer study. PROCON IT GmbH achieved a score of 91% in the IT Consulting category, while CONET Technologies Holding GmbH also received the "Top IT Employer" rating in the IT System House category with 85%.

In its annual study, CHIP, a leading platform for technology and consumer topics, identifies the best employers for IT specialists in Germany in cooperation with the analysts and market researchers at Globis Consulting. The results for 2025 have now been published in the form of a ranking.

"The award as a top employer for IT jobs confirms our ongoing commitment to creating an appreciative working environment for IT talents", emphasizes Sabine Cox, Director Human Resources at CONET Group. "We are particularly proud of the fact that we score so highly in the areas of transparency, application management and satisfaction. This independent external proof of our attractiveness as an employer helps us to attract even more highly qualified IT specialists and thus achieve the ambitious growth targets of our HORIZON28 strategy program. At the same time, the results are an incentive for us to further optimize our processes and focus even more specifically on the needs of our current and future employees."

The percentage rating as a measure of the attractiveness of IT employers is made up of three equally weighted test areas, in each of which separate test criteria are analyzed.

In the area of application management, the efficiency and appreciation of the application processes are analyzed. So-called mystery checks are also included in the assessment. These include test applications with various applicant profiles as well as general enquiries about open IT positions in order to test the responsiveness and handling of potential applicants.

The transparency of companies and their working environment is assessed on the basis of the information provided on websites and in job adverts. Particular focus is placed on details of tasks, benefits offered and the technologies used. In addition, employee reviews on platforms such as kununu, Glassdoor and Indeed are included in order to gain insights into the satisfaction of current and former employees.

To be recognized as a top employer for IT jobs, an overall score of at least 70% must be achieved. Of more than 2,500 companies analyzed, only around 15% achieved the required minimum score.
